Hello, It’s 2016 Feb and I have been missing my blog for sometime now. I realise that I haven’t done a product review in a long time; though I have been buying/hoarding stuff like there is no tomorrow! So I’ll start off with the review of a lip balm- Himalaya Intensive Moisturizing Cocoa Butter Lip Balm .

As it usually happens, I misplaced my lip balms and couldn’t find them for a few days [I have about 3-4 lip balms]. I love lip balms and always take them around with me – which also results in me losing them often 🙂 . I can’t even seem to find one when the time comes! Does that ever happen to you? Anyway I finally decided to buy one(more :P). Thus came Himalaya Intensive Moisturizing Cocoa Butter Lip Balm into my possession.

Packaging: It has a transparent green twist up tube with a cap that snugly fits with a slight click.

My experience: I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Himalaya products in Malaysia/Singapore. I have used Himalaya face wash, shampoo(reviewed here), their squeeze tube lip balm etc. and some of them have impressed me. The best part about the lip balm is its list of natural ingredients. I love the smell of this lip balm. The lip balm does not feel waxy/too slippery and is quite firm to apply. Do not twist up fully as the lip balm might break since you will be tempted to press down on the balm(as it is quite firm). The best way is to twist it up a little and swipe 2-3 times to get an enormous layer that you desire. I prefer to use lip balms with waxy texture at home/night and thicker firm ones during the day. The advantage is that you can opt for a single non-slippery layer just before you put your lipstick on. The lipstick lasts much longer than when you would wear it over other lip balms. It doesn’t have any spf and hence does not protect lips against the sun 😦 . Spf would have made this the best lipstick friendly day time lip balm that I own. The lip balm lasts about 3-4 hours on me with minimal eating/drinking. Pros:
