Nike free 5.0 womens review năm 2024

It is so unfortunate when companies update good products for nothing more than to create a new product. I've owned every edition (sometimes multiple) of the Nike Free RN shoes since they started making them and these (5.0) are hands down the worst version of the Free RNs. Besides being ugly, they feel like cheap aqua shoes on my feet.

Like a ballet slipper made into a running shoe, fits like a glove. Please note that I do not wear socks with my running shoes, I don’t like bulky runners, and I don’t consider toe shoes to be like ballet sneakers nor do I wear them. I normally wear size 7 in most shoes, including Nike. My foot is approximately 23.8cm/length. I haven’t bought Nike in a while because they stopped making my favorite Nike free OG and I never found a comparable replacement despite trying numerous other styles. When I noticed the change in design and materials for the ON cloud shoe I was warm weather running in, I went back to Nike (for winter/trail running I wear Salomon). While this current Nike Free shoe is not like the Free OG, I like it enough to buy additional pairs in case they stop making it. Some people may dislike the lack of padding but I personally don’t like an overly cushioned forced positioning of my foot and arch because it slightly misaligns my foot-knee-hip positioning while in motion. At first it seems to be tight when putting the shoe on the foot but it doesn’t feel too tight while wearing (without socks). I wore these for 9 miles on cement the first day and my feet felt a little bit sore toward the end but no blisters and no bleeding whatsoever on the heel or the feet, and I didn’t rush to take them off when I got home. The next day I wore them all day in and out of thunderstorms and still no issues. The laces stay tied until you untie them and I have no complaints about this style. I’m actually amazed that they don’t cut my ankles at all and I have zero issues with the stitching and no blistering etc. I bought the luminous green which is a very faint toxic/fluo yellow, not Easter egg yellow, in case anyone is wondering. Recommended for the runner with a lot of muscle control or for those who want a minimal and flexible shoe. Awesome! But not for everyone :)

Nice fitting shoe. Very comfortable. Bought for light workouts on elliptical and treadmill. Feel true to Nike sizing. Fabric is snug but stretchy. Not that breathable..not mesh but more like a scuba suit material.

Adorable shoes but hard to get on. I have very high arches and trying to pull the shoe on was difficult. Once on it is very comfortable.

The shoe fits great but it is incredibly UGLY! If I weren't so busy and exhausted with life right now I'd return them. Nothing at all like the other Nike Free sneaks. The soles are totally different and feel weird and look nasty.

I bought this shoe two days before going to WDW. I had no time for break-in mode but they fit perfectly. It fit true to a 9 1/2 size. I wore them most all over Disney. No blisters and very comfortable. They fit like a soft glove barefoot. I love them. For casual wear they are great! Love the colors too.

I’ve been wearing Nike Free’s for a few years now. This new version is a great shoe, but the toe box is a little wider than previous models. Also, there are fewer eyelets and the laces run closer to the outside of the foot than the middle. And I wish the material on the top of the shoe was a little sturdier; this seems very thin. That being said, it’s a comfortable shoe and I plan on keeping them and wearing them every day! I just wanted to note the details because the fit of this model is different than the previous Free RN’s I’ve had. Overall it’s a great shoe (and I love the colors)!

I am sorry to say I couldn't keep this version of the so-called Nike Free. I appreciated the simple and minimal design of the previous years. That is why I have been purchasing Nike Free's for many years. My last loveable pair was the Nike Free RN 2018 and in an ideal world, I would love to see a similar design for 2019 but where did that go? Not only are these uncomfortable and too high for my sensation, but I couldn't ignore the look and bulkiness of the soles. I will let it out. It's hideous.

I'd also recommend:

I love this shoe! I have super narrow feet, though, and these felt appropriately snug, keeping my foot in place. Normally, my feet kind of slide around inside an athletic shoe, but not in these. I don’t think these would work for anyone with wide feet, though.

Amazing fit, very comfortable for both light running and speed walking. I have never owned a pair of sport shoes with no laces but these really surprised me. I was expecting to return them but they are the best running/walking shoes I have had. Lightweight, comfortable, not bulky (even with the funny shoe butt on the back). I’ve been out running with them 6 times now and find I don’t want to take them off. An excellent shoe at an excellent price.

Best Shoe Ever! I’ve been wearing Nike Free Runs for the past couple of years and occasionally story to other brands. I came back to Nike to try these new Free Runs and they are amazing. They for like a glove and move with you. It almost feels like you are wearing nothing. Plus, they are super cute. They look better on your feet than in the pictures.

Everything is good about this shoe, except the top is super tight and uncomfortable. It’s like Spanx (which I also hate) on the top of my foot. I can't go up a size because the rest of the shoe fits - it’s just the top. Note that these are slip-on style; the laces are not functional - if they were than I would simply loosen them. I’m keeping the shoes, but will likely have to cut the top piece so I quit freaking out.

Runs small. I am a narrow size 7/7.5 and while a 7.5 in Nike sneakers usually works, I had to go up to an 8 in these. They fit perfectly but do run narrow and are minimalist so not a lot of room in toe. Perfect for travel sneaker as they are so light and compact.

This shoe is really cute and fits well. It is a little narrow compared to some other Nike shoes. However they squeak when you walk, which is pretty annoying

Forefoot didn't have much of a vertical space, and the fit was a bit odd and pinched into my pinky toes. It felt comfortable otherwise.

Nice looking, but pinches the inside of both of my feet. Not a tremendous amount of support when running. It's too bad, because it's a nice-looking shoe. This shoe is made for people with narrow feet who don't do a lot of running.

These are cute, however my Nike commuters are like house slippers, as I was hoping these would be. After an hour or two, I cannot wait to take them off. I do not wear socks with slip ons. The second time I wore them the liners came out with my foot. I have been a perfect size 7 for ten years, so i do not know if I just got a dud or what.

LOVE the shoe, and the pink color. The base of the shoe fit my foot perfectly, with great arch support. The problem was that the top of the shoe, around the opening, was very tight on my upper foot. I have that problem often, because of high arches. Very frustrating, because every other part of the shoe was PERFECT.

I love these. I’m new to the world of running so this is the first “official”pair of running shoes I’ve purchased. They fit my feet like a glove. Light and comfortable. I will definitely buy again when these wear out.

They fit like a glove. Are very narrow - as my foot. Good walking shoes. Good arch. Not a lot of padding in the bottom.

Do Nike Free Run 5.0 fit true to size?

Runs small. I am a narrow size 7/7.5 and while a 7.5 in Nike sneakers usually works, I had to go up to an 8 in these. They fit perfectly but do run narrow and are minimalist so not a lot of room in toe. Perfect for travel sneaker as they are so light and compact.

Do Nike Free run big or small?

My experience is the Free does run about a 1/2-size small. I normally wear a mens 8.5 dress shoe and a size 9 Nike Free fits perfect. In fact I'm wearing a pair as I type this and, yes, the size 9 fits as it should. For online orders I'd start with the 1/2-size larger.

Does Nike Free Run 5.0 stretch?

The upper uses a breathable knit material throughout for a soft, stretchy feel. It gives your foot room to stretch as you run.

Are Nike frees good for your feet?

Nike Free has been tested and developed for over 15 years. Barefoot running can increase the volume and power of the muscles in your feet. In general, better muscle coordination lets you better absorb impacts on each landing and reuse the energy spent.
