I was watching your review earlier today thorough and nicely detailed as always. Visually, HT did their job very well, as usual, but the limitations (limited articulation, accessories, head) are becoming more and more annoying, especially as their price tags are climbing higher and higher it almost seems like we were paying less for more versatile figures. I do think they did a great job conveying what we see of the actor's face, but like you said changeable face plates would have been a sensible and certainly doable option. Of course, the same could be said of an unmasked head. And even if they got the costume down perfectly (I assume I don't remember it that well), they ought to take into account function, not just appearance. For many reasons, I will be sticking to my SooSoo Toys Scarlet Speedster from the possibly more classic look, to the greater articulation, wider range of accessories, masked and unmasked head sculpts, and (in my personal opinion) more likeable actor. But apart from the limitations, I do think HT did a good very good job conveying the visual appearance of their subject. Which I can only speculate may be resultant due to fluctuations in import costs caused by newly or soon to be imposed tariffs. Not that I’m an expert on such things.
