The food is of a good quality and the service is great. The staff is young (er) and fluent at English, which makes it easy for English speaking customers to understand the menu. During our time here we decided to have lunch. This place was less crowded than others on the Main Street and the food here is fantastic. We ordered the octopus, very flavorsome coupled with a very nice potato mousse. We also ordered the homemade ravioli with lemon and buttery sauce as well as the beef and rocket salad (very tender and juicy). Highly recommend this place :) Excellent! Recently had dinner 3-4 times here with my wife while staying three weeks in Salerno. The restaurant could be good if the food was hot. And the kitchen staff including the chef and waiters watch television in the open kitchen and the sound reverberates thought out the entire restaurant. We had to ask them to turn it down several times and they did each time we asked. I don’t want to hear television while eating my pasta and clams, it makes the restaurant unprofessional. The owner and staff are friendly and try to please the patrons. Great Italian restaurant and absolutely amazing food. Also amazing tiramisu. Came back 2 of the 3 nights we were there just for that. We sat out on the patio as there were heaters that kept us warm and we could enjoy nightlife sightseeing. I am a Mexican food veteran - I’ve backpacked thoroughly through Central America and loved the cuisine, however we ordered very simple dishes as it was my boyfriends first time and it was a pretty simple menu. They advertise as Tex/Mex, which means the menu mostly had nachos, quesadillas, burritos, fajitas.. Those kind of things! As well as all the yummy drinks! (Think daiquiri, Mojito, bulldog,etc) Servers were friendly enough. Mexican food is usually pretty quick to prepare, so I think I was expecting to have our food quicker. We ordered the chicken and avocado quesadilla, Cajun tortilla chips and three dips. Food was good! Not overly authentic. For the price of 2 pizzas a couple doors down, we got a couple of appetizers, mains and water. No complaints! 🤷🏼♀️ This restaurant had vegan options! I had vegan nachos and tacos and my father had steak. He said it was delicious. I don’t typically like Mexican restaurants in Italy because typically our bar is set too high for real Mexican food but this restaurant did a good job. My vegan dishes were full of veggies and tofu. The tacos had an Italian twist on it but adding olives and onions to the tacos. They didn’t have margaritas on the menu but said they’d make it. Instead, we had some Coronas, can’t go wrong here! We have eaten half meter of fried fish that was fantastic. All the rules for covid have been respected. All the staff with a mask and green pass required at the entrance Definitely don’t recommend this place. We’ve waited an hour for a carbonara and a risotto, and at the end the risotto wasn’t a risotto at all-just plain rice with a few frozen shrimps. The place is full of people only because one of the staff members stays in front of the restaurant and allures people to go in. Definitely not an Italian food in my opinion. Typical Italian tourist-rip-off. High price (18 euro) for small piece of meet from unidentified animal and few pieces of overcooked fries. Avoid. They also charge seating fee - couperto. Absolutely do not eat here. In addition to not being seen for 30 minutes (nor given water or an ashtray like we asked), when we finally were able to order, my friend ordered lobster pasta and eventually was delivered crayfish instead of lobster. In addition, I was also delivered a house white wine instead of Prosecco. I decided to keep quiet and just drink it so I could have something to sip on. We have been here for upwards of an hour and a half and the service is laughable. Everyone keeps asking the waiters what’s happening and they say the pasta is fresh so there is a wait. I’m not certain that is the case either. They keep seating new people before current ones have been seen. This is hands down the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. Because my wife and I had our 1 year old with us we sat outside by ourself to not disturb other diners for lunch. But for some reason the owner felt the need to sit next to us by himself chain smoking cigarettes blowing it directly at us the entire meal while drinking an entire bottle of wine to himself. We were so disgusted after the first course we asked to take the second course to go. When it came out boxed up with the check we asked for a plastic fork to eat it with when we take it home, where the drunk owner finally gets up and says NO. You walk past the restaurant and you are instantly attracted - it’s not fancy, nor forcefully designed to look historic - it looks like you walk into the kitchen of your favourite Nonna and she will make sure there is nothing missing for you to be happy. The junior owner was a great host and she really brightened up the place. We want to congratulate for the 20th anniversary and hope to be back soon. I absolutely recommend it. The place is very rustic and cozy. It has most of the tables outside and it is perfect during warm seasons. The prices are reasonable and the menu is full of interesting and delicious dishes. I appreciated the quality of the sea food but I would have liked less oil in my plate. Apart from that, I found fried sea food absolutely perfect: you could still smell both the fish and the fried taste. Then the final ending, the stunning dessert and the artisanal bitters. The best food we had in 3 weeks in Italy. Got robbed 30min ago. Asked for a "grilled fish, with one gambas and octopus". Received 2 plates, one with the fish, one with octopus/ one gambas and a little piece of tuna. So when they charged the second plate 15euros, we just kindly said that we did not understand and never asked for this. The director, without even looking at us, says "Fourty!", gets angry and shout in italian! Totally disrespectful, stunning and shameful. Never seen that before. We are backpackers and had low budget. The pasta with clams we had had some sand inside but this really was the only bad thing. Amazing typical Italian restaurant, with local cuisine and charming atmosphere. We got brought different dishes than the ones we ordered (that's why we rate it 4/5), but they were absolutely spectacular anyway.
