​Giọng ải giọng ai (Hidden Voices) là game show về âm nhạc có sự kết hợp giữa nhiều yếu tố như âm nhạc, hài hước và cả tư duy phán đoán.

Ngoài dàn thí sinh “chất”, đa dạng ở nhiều ngành nghề khác nhau chương trình còn có sự tham gia của các nghệ sĩ: Thu Trang, Trường Giang, Trấn Thành, Ốc Thanh Vân và nhiều ca sĩ khách mời.

Bằng khả năng cảm nhận riêng, mỗi người đưa ra sự phỏng đoán nhanh nhạy của mình để tìm ra đâu là người hát hay và đâu là người hát... không hay!

Chương trình gồm 3 vòng thi: vòng Tạo hình, vòng Lip sync và vòng Ai là ca sĩ? Ở vòng Tạo hình, thí sinh đứng yên trên sân khấu như tư thế của một ca sĩ. Sau đó lần lượt mỗi thí sinh được chiếu 1 đoạn clip ngắn về bản thân để cho người chơi đoán họ có phải là ca sĩ hay không.

Ở vòng Lip sync, 5 thí sinh lần lượt hát nhép theo một bài hát mà chương trình chuẩn bị sẵn để cho hai đội chơi đoán xem ai là người không biết hát.

Vòng cuối cùng hai đội chơi có những câu hỏi nhanh để hỏi những điều muốn biết về thí sinh đó với mục đích giúp mình trong lượt phán đoán: Ai là người hát hay?

Sau đó hai thí sinh được hai đội chọn lần lượt hát song ca với ca hai sĩ khách mời. Thí sinh còn lại cuối cùng không được chọn phải trình một bài hát live.

Hidden Voices (Vietnamese: Giọng ải giọng ai, English: Who is the voice?, abbreviated as GAGA) is a Vietnamese television mystery music game show series formally recognised as part of I Can See Your Voice . Since its premiere on 5 November 2016, it has aired five seasons on HTV7.

Gameplay[edit]

Format[edit]

Presented with a group of "mystery singers" identified only by their occupation, two opposing guest artists must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of several rounds. At the end of the game, the last remaining mystery singers are revealed each as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.

Under the battle format, both opponents can eliminate one singer each in a single round, and then both can choose one singer each to join the final performance in the final round. At the end of the game, the conditions for winning mystery singers chosen by opposing guest artists, depending on the outcome of each final performance, if:

  1. One opposing guest artist has chosen a "good singer" and the other one has a "bad singer", or
  2. Both two opposing guest artists have chosen a "good singer" or a "bad singer".

Rewards[edit]

  • If a guest artist has chosen a good singer, he/she wins ₫50,000,000. In case of a tie (with both two opponents have chosen good singers), the same amount is halved, leaving with ₫25,000,000 each. Both winning singers, regardless of being good or bad, receive ₫10,000,000 each.
  • For the fifth season, the eliminated good singer gets a consolation prize of ₫2,000,000.

Visual round[edit]

  • The guest artist is given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance. Afterward, a muted video of each mystery singer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint.

Lip sync round[edit]

  • Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.

Interrogation round[edit]

  • The guest artist may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.

Talent round[edit]

  • The guest artist must describe one of the mystery singer's other talents, except "singing" itself. It may unrelated to the stage of truth, but it depends on their identity.

Production and development[edit]

In October 2015, VTV has initially made an interest to adapt I Can See Your Voice, which would subsequently announce for its development in March 2016, with production duties assigned by Cát Tiên Sa [vi]. Then in July 2016, HTV formally acquired the rights to produce a Vietnamese counterpart of the said show. It is co-produced by Điền Quân Media, Color Entertainment and Pixel Factory; the staff team is managed by producer Trần Thế Khương and director Khương Dừa.

Naming and gameplay format[edit]

The show's Vietnamese title Giọng ải giọng ai can be directly translated to "Who is the voice?"; it has an English subtitle of Hidden Voices. Being the formally recognised Vietnamese adaptation of I Can See Your Voice, the introduction of a "battle format" would later implement to existing ICSYV counterparts in Indonesia, Thailand, and Mexico.

Filming[edit]

Tapings for the programme took place at the Pixel Factory Studios in Gò Vấp, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to a statement with director Khương Dừa on 5 April 2020, the series has initially planned to temporarily suspend broadcasts for an upcoming fifth season due to the COVID-19 pandemic with a possibility of discontinuation, which he later decided to reverse its plans and commence "digital auditions" anyway.

Broadcast history[edit]

Hidden Voices debuted on 5 November 2016. The linear television broadcasts for its fourth season that premiered on 27 July 2019 has an initial finale date on 2 November 2019, which would further extend by releasing 11 unaired episodes on various YouTube channels until its formal conclusion on 18 January 2020. Despite its cancellation because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fifth season premiered on 28 June 2020.
